About this item
- The NV4108-A2 is a NVR by Amcrest that can support hard drives up to 10TB. It features 8-channel recording and live view in up to 8MP/4K resolution at real-time 30fps. Playback options include 8-channel at 1080p/30fps, 4-channel at 4MP/30fps, and 2-channel at 4K/30fps. It is compatible with all Amcrest WiFi and Wired IP cameras, as well as some third-party brand compliant IP cameras.
- The NVR uses advanced H.265 compression technology to save on storage space without compromising video quality. It offers intelligent search, playback, and backup functions that enhance ease of use and security. These functions include motion detection events and exact search functions accurate to one second.
- The NVR supports AI features from AI IP cameras, although the availability depends on the camera model. It only supports 2CH AI Cameras at 4K/30fps and does not have built-in AI features itself. It can connect to and manage all IP cameras on the network directly.
- With a maximum incoming bandwidth of 80Mbps, the NVR can record 8 cameras at 4K using H.264. By adjusting the default settings to H.265 and adjusting the bit rate to 1792 on each camera, it can record 8 cameras at 4K for optimized performance. The package includes a USB mouse, network cable, and quick start guide.
- To operate, this NVR requires a hardwired Ethernet connection directly to the router. It supports both WiFi and Wired IP Cameras and includes a USB backup feature. All systems are CE and FCC certified with UL compliant power supplies.
